About 6 years ago(2002) I had a yearning to sketch and draw again. I hadn't really done anything since High School. So, I put drawings on Bible verses, framed them and gave them away as gifts. I soon learned I could scan them and reprint them when I needed them.
One day, I was showing some of the pictures I had taken with my Toshiba digital camera (which had a whopping 3 megapixels) to friends when they suggested I put Bible verses on my pictures. Psalm 139:17&18 was the first verse I put on a picture. At first I gave them away as gifts but soon people were asking to purchase them for gift giving of their own.
Some of the people recieving them were in other states so it only made sense to put up a website for the people to view all the PhotoVerses.
Sweet & Simple Greeting cards have been fun to develop and all PhotoVerses can be made into greeting cards as well.
Over time I have learned a bit of photography, a bit about Adobe Photoshop, a bit about printing and the paper I print on and a bit more about computers. Perhaps the most wonderful thing I've learned through photography is seeing all of the beautiful things in nature and knowing our Father God made it all for His children to enjoy. It has become more enjoyable to go for a walk in the marsh or the park than to see the latest block buster movie!
